Our position on copyright
bMovies respects the intellectual property rights of others. It uses the MovieBox API for catalogue information and third-party services for video streams.
bMovies does not keep video files on its servers. Video data is relayed from third-party providers without being written to disk. Artwork and subtitles may be cached to make the site work efficiently.
Removing a link from bMovies does not remove the underlying video, which remains on the provider’s systems.
Notice and takedown procedure
If you believe material made accessible through bMovies infringes your copyright, send a written notice including all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material on bMovies: title, exact page URL and, if possible, the upstream provider URL.
- Your contact information: name, address, email and phone.
- A statement of good faith that you believe the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next
Notices are reviewed within 24–72 hours. Failing to provide the information listed above may delay or prevent action. If the claim is valid, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the referenced content on bMovies within 24–48 hours.
- Forward the notice to the relevant upstream provider or stream host so they can take their own action.
- Notify the affected party if we are able to identify them.
Counter-notices
If material you provided was removed due to a takedown notice and you believe this was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. Include identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction and contact details.
Good faith only
bMovies cannot remove content from third-party services. Requests targeting upstream providers should be sent directly to those providers or their hosting provider. We respond to valid DMCA notices for material we link to, and take malicious or fraudulent notices seriously.
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. Automated or mass-generated notices sent without review of the actual page may be treated as bad-faith and deprioritised.
